The Grapevine
Building Confidence, Sharing Best Practice, and Strengthening Leadership Capacity
The Grapevine is a series of six in-person events across the 2026-27 academic year, designed in consultation with school leaders to support and to meet the needs of those working and leading in Catholic schools.
It is not an academic course of study but aims to bring people together to share insights and struggles and to grow confidence in catholic school leadership at al levels.

The Lead Facilitator
Dr. Nicholas Cuddihy (Nicky)
Dr Cuddihy is a strong advocate for Catholic education with extensive experience at all levels of the system from classroom teacher to principal to executive leadership of Catholic trusts both in Ireland and the UK. Inspired by the GRACE Report and following a year of consultation and listening to school leaders, Nicky established Catholic Education Supports and Services (CESS) in 2025 as a vehicle for the delivery of professional supports and services to Catholic schools. His approach is practical, relational and collaborative, focussed on drawing out the knowledge and expertise of the group and bringing out the best in those around him.
Format & Location
The six in-person events will take place on campus at All Hallows College, Dublin. Eircode: D09 H9YR.
The events are timed to facilitate access for those travelling across or into the city. All Hallows is located just off Grace Park Road, a 30min walk from Croke Park and a short taxi ride from both Heuston and Connolly rail stations. Free parking is available on request.

Full Membership - €895
When you choose full membership of the Grapevine you have a space reserved for all six events and can send a second person from your school to any of the six events subject to availability.
Flexible - Pay As You Go
This option allows you to pick event(s) of particular interest or relevance for your school. €245 for one participant, €295 for two.
